ArCADiasoft (formerly INTERsoft) was established in the middle of 1997 in Lodz. Its founder, Jaroslaw Chudzik, received his master's degree in civil engineering from inodz University of Technology. Shortly after his graduation, Jaroslaw Chudzik went to Germany to pursue his doctorate. He received an offer from a large German IT company in the field of civil engineering, in search of a civil engineer with knowledge of computer programming, and started working in the software development department. He returned to Poland after 10 years and started a company using his experience in Germany. The company achieved a financial success in a very short time. He then created the comprehensive, object-oriented ArCADia BIM system, which is the company's flagship product that allows various designers to collaborate between their locations.
